About Brenwood
I have been actively breeding since 1998 and show in the Cat Fanciers Association. I have bred 12 grand champions and four regional winners. My foundation queen has become a Distinguished Merit cat based on her production of grand champions, and one of my early males was the National Best of Breed Burmese. In 2002 I had the National Best Burmese Kitten (also National Best Sable Kitten) and the National Best Champagne Kitten. My goal is to produce happy, healthy cats that closely meet the breed ideal.

My beginnings in the cat fancy began the same way many's do. After owning many cats throughout my life, I was captivated by the sweet personality and charm of Burmese. It is their people orientation, along with their calm demeanor, that attracted me. Their stunning beauty became more apparent to me the more time I spent with them. I also started with a pet quality kitten, but as sometimes happens, he was fortunate enough to earn a regional win in premiership (spays and neuters).

Your Brenwood kitten or cat may not be a national winner, but you can receive all the same emotional enjoyment of being owned by a Burmese that I do. A pair of kittens equals four times as much fun as one, because their antics multiply. I do not limit myself to just the sable color and find blue especially delightful. There are 4 colors of Burmese (sable, blue, champagne, and platinum), and each has its own fascination. Although most of my kittens go to homes on the west coast, I would welcome your visit from anywhere in the country to the cattery in southern California for the beginning of your Burmese addiction. I prefer not to ship kittens, but older retired show or breeding cats ship with no problems. Pet quality kittens generally go for $600 and are available most of the time.
